"AJUDARIS" histories II

Once again I joined the AJUDARIS project.  
This time with an illustration for the poem written by the students of S. Francisco Primary School (Alcochete-Portugal).

The poem is about healthy food.

It was a pleasure to take part of this project which promotes reading, writing, art and solidarity.

Mais uma vez participei no projecto da Ajudaris. desta vez com os alunos da Escola Básica de São Francisco - Turma J7 – 3.º Ano - Professora Ana Ervedoso.

Uma boa alimentação

Se queres crescer

E ter saúde a valer

Vais ter que comer

Para conseguires viver.

Sopa, feijão, alface

Tudo verdinho e saboroso

Muito bem misturado

Deve ser delicioso!

Um prato bem colorido

Cheio de salada verdinha

A acompanhar o peixe e a carne

Que vão para a nossa barriguinha

A fruta é muito importante

Dela não nos podemos esquecer

Uma boa fonte de vitaminas

Que nos vai proteger!

TROCA TINTAS (Dauber)

My new book is almost ready! The main character is an artist who is colorblind. Because of this everyone call him dauber. But he really is a very good artist and very creative. 

Bugs in Bishop Douglass

Today I was in Bishop Douglass School in London.

I was there to present "Bugs" to the children of the Portuguese-speaking community.

They  come to learn Portuguese every Friday with teacher Isabel Marques of the Institute Camões. Today they came to listen to poems and draw bugs.It was fun. I loved it. 

Hoje estive numa escola em Londres, a Bishop Douglass, onde as crianças da comunidade de Língua Portuguesa vêem todas as sextas feiras aprender português com a professora Isabel Marques do Instituto Camões. Hoje vieram ouvir poemas e desenhar "bichos".

Foi muito divertido!

"AJUDARIS" histories

Last school year, I participated with the year two students from "Escola da Restauração" in the project "AJUDARIS".

The children wrote the text and I illustrated it.

The teacher and the children invited me to come to their school and speak about the project.

Today we are finally together. 

No passado ano letivo, participei com os alunos do segundo ano da "Escola da Restauração" no projeto "AJUDARIS".

Os alunos escreveram o texto e eu ilustrei-o.

Fui convidada para vir à Escola falar sobre o projeto e hoje aqui estou.

Bugs in "Penas Real" School
