I worked as a designer until 1992, (1985/92).
Since that date I decided to be only an art teacher and dedicate all my
energies to the teaching, and I loved it.

But teach art and don't do something related to
art gets to be very frustrating, so I began to illustrate little things for the
school library and for some publications.
In 2006 a fellow teacher, Natália Augusto,
challenged me to illustrate a story written by her. I Accepted and in 2007 The
book “ André no Reino das Palavras Falantes” ( Andy in the Kingdom of Words), was published.
